OUR STORY
BEN & SARAH
We met in Sydney, January 2014. Two wide-eyed dreamers—him from one side of the world, her from the other—who signed up for the same film and TV course, fully intending to go back to our respective countries afterward. But... the universe laughed. Hard.

Somehow, against all odds (and thanks to very poor exit strategies), we found each other, connected by a shared obsession with storytelling, camera gear, and food—and fell hopelessly in love. We got engaged in 2016 and sealed the deal in 2017 with a 3-day wedding celebration in Bali, surrounded by the people we love, laughter, dance floors, and many wardrobe changes.

Since then, it’s been one wild ride. We took a leap of faith, quit our full-time jobs (zero backup plans, zero family nearby, just a whole lot of heart), and dove headfirst into capturing stories, starting with weddings for our friends and family. Somewhere along the way, we realized this wasn’t just something we enjoyed, it’s what we were born to do. Together.
We’re two creatives who can be on opposite ends of a wedding venue and still telepathically know what shot the other is lining up.

(No, seriously. It’s freaky. In a good way.)
We believe in capturing weddings not just as events, but as deeply personal stories—of love, resilience, culture, chaos, laughter, and the million invisible threads that bring two people to this one life-changing day.

So whether you’re planning an epic multicultural celebration or an intimate backyard wedding, we’re here for it. And for you. We can’t wait to hear your story, witness the magic between you, and preserve those once-in-a-lifetime moments with all the care, heart, and joy they deserve.

Love,
Ben & Sarah
(The duo behind the lenses, the laughs, and the occasional happy tears.)

MEET
SARAH
Camera Lover & Vow Crier

Born and raised in India, I grew up in a family where being a doctor or engineer was basically the gold standard of success. So naturally… I rebelled. I followed my curiosity into a degree and master’s in media and communication—determined to tell real stories that mattered.

At first, that meant dreaming of being a hard-hitting journalist. But spoiler alert: the real world of news wasn’t quite the noble, truth-seeking landscape my media ethics class had promised. So I pivoted into documentary filmmaking, lifestyle shows, and travel features—every experience shaping me, stretching me, and deepening my love for storytelling. The kind that moves you, connects you, and reminds you how beautifully human we all are.

It was during this season that I decided to take a leap and move to Sydney to deepen my craft. I didn’t expect that I’d meet my future husband on day one of film school—but hey, life loves a good plot twist.

We connected through a shared love of storytelling and the arts, and since then, life has been a beautiful, chaotic, creative rollercoaster. Our different cultural upbringings and all the places we’ve called home over the years have only added more colour, perspective, and depth to the stories we now tell together.

I’ve lived in Sydney for over a decade now, and feel incredibly grateful to call this vibrant, multicultural place home. It’s filled with stories that deserve to be seen and heard—and it’s an honour to tell them, one frame at a time.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me with a paintbrush in hand, experimenting with new recipes, or hunting down the best dumplings or handmade pasta in town. I love escaping reality with photo walks that let me soak in the unnoticed beauty around us. I’m a bit obsessed with museums, art galleries, and documentaries that make me feel something deep. And nothing fills my soul quite like a real, heartfelt conversation. It never gets old.

And yes, I’m that girl who cries at every wedding. The vows? I’m weeping. The speeches? I’m a puddle. But that’s just who I am—someone who falls in love with every couple’s story and treasures the privilege of capturing it with care, heart, and maybe a few tissues in hand.

MEET
BEN
Story Seeker & Tech Tinkerer

Hey, I’m Ben. Filmmaker, storyteller, and proud husband of Sarah, my best friend and creative partner. We met at a film school in Sydney, both planning to return to our home countries, but the universe had other ideas. We got married and it's been eight amazing years of love, laughter, and building a life of storytelling together.

I grew up on the north side of Chicago, raised by a powerhouse single mum who worked incredibly hard to keep me out of trouble and open up doors of opportunity. As a kid, I was always the one pulling apart clocks, radios, and Lego sets to see how they worked. That curiosity stuck with me. Over time, it shifted from machines to people, and from gears to stories.

In high school, I got deep into engineering, welding, physics, and AutoCAD. I didn’t end up going to college for engineering, but a trip to Nigeria sparked something big. I started taking photos of my travels and everyday moments, and in 2008 I taught myself Photoshop and video editing. I got into logo design and animation, and eventually landed a job at a marketing company. After soaking up everything I could, I decided to chase my passion further and flew to Australia to study film.

I made my first documentary about graffiti and the culture behind it, along with a couple of short films. Ask me and I’ll happily show you. Somewhere along the way, I met Sarah. Now I have an accent that’s half Chicago, half Aussie, and I’m not mad about it.

Today, I focus on telling real love stories through photo and video. The kind that are full of soul, character, and emotion. I still love technology, cars, camping, and off-roading. I’ve had more hairstyles than I can count, and I’ve always written poetry, even if I haven’t shared it yet. Maybe one day.

Until then, I pour all that creative energy into capturing moments that matter. Moments that feel like you.

Let’s tell your story together.
